Jack Healy Market Data Services
I am an information technology professional, specializing in managing market data information systems (such as Reuters and Bloomberg) for large investment banks.
I have been involved with the financial industry for twenty years; starting on a help desk for a trading floor right out of college and progressively gaining responsibility as a technician, analyst, project manager and ultimately as an operations manager covering the entire New York metropolitan region.
My breadth and scope of positions has allowed me to engage senior management and stakeholders on the big picture view, while still being able to understand and interact effectively with technologists and clerical staff on the day to day business of operational efficiency and exceeding customer expectations.
My major achievements include:
- Integration of the Paine Webber market data infrastructure into UBS
- Consolidation and elimination of redundant MDS services between the Stamford, New York and Chicago offices at UBS
- 5% reduction of market data expenses each year for six (6) years at UBS
- Efficient management and supervision of operations team resulting in a 100% retention rate & a KPI of 99.96% production time
- Disaster Recovery and Business Continuation procedures and testing for all departments in New York metropolitan area
- Creation and implementation of break/fix, service delivery, and project management policies, meeting or exceeding SLA requirements
- Migration of the Municipals Department from WM to IB at UBS
- Incorporation of the Dillon Read Hedge Fund market data systems at UBS
- Decimalization of the New York Stock Exchange integration at Prudential Securities
- Y2K transition of market data services at Prudential Securities
